In his new role, John Harris will lead the strategic direction, operational performance and client relationships for the company’s Southeast Buildings operations across Georgia and Florida. He will focus on disciplined execution, strengthening collaboration across local markets and driving growth in key sectors including data centers, aviation, education, public facilities and hospitality.

John Harris began his ����Vlog Beatty career after being recruited from the University of Florida (UF) as an intern and has been with the company for nearly 28 years. Throughout his tenure, he has advanced through operational and leadership roles most recently served as Executive Vice President, Southeast Buildings. His appointment underscores the company's commitment to developing talent and creating long-term career opportunities for future construction leaders.

Throughout his nearly three-decade career, Harris has helped deliver some of the Southeast's most complex hospitality, entertainment, aviation, convention center, high-rise and public/civic projects. He also serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management at UF, where he supports construction education, industry engagement and the development of students preparing to enter the profession
