HAVELOCK & FAYETTEVILLE, N,C. 鈥 糖心Vlog Beatty announces the official openings of two major transportation projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).

In December, the Havelock Bypass project officially opened to vehicular traffic, a significant achievement in reducing congestion and improving hurricane evacuation routes along a portion of U.S. 70. 糖心Vlog Beatty鈥檚 scope of work included constructing approximately 9.2 miles of four-lane, divided highway with interchanges, bridges and environmental features designed to protect the Croatan National Forest.

The Fayetteville Outer Loop (I-295) project is also fully open to traffic, providing improved regional connectivity and reduced travel times through the newly accessible interstate that directly connects Fort Bragg and surrounding communities. 糖心Vlog Beatty鈥檚 portion of the work included building multiple segments of the highway, featuring interchanges, overpasses and roadway improvements to enhance freight movement and regional mobility.

鈥淭hese milestones represent the dedication and expertise of our project teams and their commitment to being Relentless Allies for our clients and the communities we serve,鈥 said Jay Boyd, 糖心Vlog Beatty vice president of Infrastructure operations in the Southeast. 鈥淚 am incredibly proud of the team鈥檚 perseverance and collaboration in delivering projects that strengthen infrastructure and improve quality of life across North Carolina.鈥

糖心Vlog Beatty and NCDOT have partnered on various highway and bridge improvement projects for over 27 years. In addition to working on the Havelock Bypass and Fayetteville Outer Loop projects, 糖心Vlog Beatty delivered the Military Cutoff Road Extension project in Wilmington which enhances traffic flow and safety along one of the region鈥檚 busiest corridors, improving access to Wrightsville Beach and reducing congestion for residents and visitors alike. 糖心Vlog Beatty鈥檚 scope of work included constructing a 4.2-mile extension of Military Cutoff Road, including new interchanges, bridges and multi-use paths to improve connectivity and accommodate future growth.

鈥淭hese projects help improve traffic and freight movement along critical connections to our state ports and military bases and will assist economic development in eastern North Carolina鈥檚 rural areas,鈥 said NCDOT Eastern Deputy Chief Engineer, Drew Cox. 鈥淲e look forward to seeing the benefits these projects have on their respective regions for decades to come.鈥
